Welcome to the Weekly Update for August 28 2026 Hey there 👋! This is your one-stop spot for everything happening within our church family. Saturday, August 29 Grace Marriage - 9am–1pm Sunday, August 30 10:00am Worship Gathering - Sunday worship service together in person or online. Heritage Kids - Age-specific ministry & programming during our Sunday worship gathering at 10am. Heritage Youth: Junior High (6th-8th) - In service for worship at 10am, gathering in Student Center afterwards. Heritage Youth: High School Sunday Nights (7th-12th) - 5:30–7:30pm. Tuesday, September 1 Tuesday Night Women’s Bible Study - 6–7:30pm Men’s Bible Study - 6–7:30pm, Conference Room at church. Open to any men to join. Thursday, September 3 Men’s Discipleship - 7–8am Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study - 9:30–11:30am Upcoming Events All Church Lunch - Sunday, September 13 after worship service Small Groups Fall Launch - Sunday, September 13 Day of Prayer - Thursday, September 24. 6am–8pm Women’s Gather Event - September 19 GATHER is an annual morning for the Women of Heritage to connect, share stories, and turn our attention together toward God. This year, our BEHOLD theme continues as we explore the Fatherhood of God and reflect on what it means to be known, cared for, and deeply loved by Him. Come enjoy a morning filled with fun, meaningful conversation, and connection—and bring a donation of diapers, wipes, clothing, hygiene items, or canned food to help bless women and families through Hope Women’s Center of Phoenix. This Week's Message "Grounded in the Love of Jesus" Jason Fischer | Ephesians 2:1-10, 19-22, 3:10-12, 4:1-6 To say we are grounded in the love of Jesus is an affirmation of our secure identity and it means we have a new capacity to work together according to our new purpose in Christ. Once dead in sin, we have been made alive by grace, brought near to God, and joined together as members of His family. Because of what Jesus has done, we can walk confidently in the good works He has prepared for us—living with humility, unity, and love as His Church displays the wisdom and grace of God to the world.
