The Vision for Our Team Heritage Worship & Creative teams consist of worship leaders, musicians, production & technical assistants, camera & livestream operators, photographers, filmmakers, and artists. The vision and culture for the Heritage Worship & Creative teams is a vibrant, passionate, Spirit-led community of worshippers who use their gifts and skillsets to serve God and serve others within the church. We’ll pursue this through a myriad of creative and technical expressions, but the goal will always be constant and consistent: to lift high the name of Jesus Christ through what we create together. We long to be all about Jesus, all about people, and we value a heart of service, unity, and leadership amongst our teams and community. That is the culture we desire to build as we serve the Lord together. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
— Colossians 3:16 What’s Coming Up: Team Night! We value time together, sharing what the Lord is doing in our lives personally, praying and worshipping together, and honestly just having fun 🤓. That’s why we love incorporating Team Nights into the culture of our ministry. Team Nights are a relaxed, fun, focused time to hang together and be equipped by one another. There are three gatherings currently scheduled for the next year so mark your calendars! Thursday, November 5 Thursday, January 21 2027 Thursday, April 8 2027 Do You Want to Serve on The Team? We’d love to invite you to join the Worship or Creative Team here if you are feeling led to do so! We’re always looking for people with coachable hearts who desire to serve others and our church well. Right now, we are in need of those who wish to help with running our Sunday livestream and cameras, worship visuals (lyrics, videos, notes, etc), musicians for Sunday morning worship and Youth on Sunday PM’s, videographers, and photographers. (Don’t worry––for any of the technical roles we can help train you to get you up to speed!) Welcome to Heritage Youth - High School
What is Heritage Youth - High School? Heritage Youth - High School is a place where high school students can build authentic friendships, ask honest questions, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We meet every Sunday from 5:00-8:00 PM, beginning in the Café with 30 minutes of hanging out before moving into the Student Center for a fun game, biblical teaching, and gender-specific small groups led by caring adult leaders. Our desire is to create a community where students feel known, valued, and challenged to live out their faith. Throughout the year, we study God's Word together, tackle real-life questions, and encourage one another to follow Christ in every area of life. On a typical Sunday night, after small groups wrap up, many of our students and leaders head out together for food—a fun way to continue conversations, build friendships, and simply enjoy spending time together. We also regularly gather outside of Sunday nights for volleyball, board games, sporting events, camps, retreats, and other activities that help students build lasting community. Whether you've been following Jesus for years or you're just beginning to explore what faith is all about, Heritage Youth is a place where you belong. We would love for you and your family to join us as we pursue Christ together. Welcome to Heritage Junior High (HJH)
What is Heritage Junior High? Heritage Junior High (HJH) is a Sunday morning ministry designed specifically for students in 6th–8th grade. Each week, students begin in the 10:00 AM worship service, joining the rest of the church family for worship. After announcements, junior high students are dismissed to the Student Center, where they will enjoy a fun game, engaging biblical teaching, and gender-specific small groups led by caring adult leaders. Our desire is to help students build a faith that is genuinely their own by creating an environment where they are known, loved, and challenged to grow in Christ. Throughout the year, we'll explore foundational topics such as the gospel, the importance of biblical community, how to read and study the Bible, prayer, identity in Christ, and what it looks like to faithfully follow Jesus in everyday life. Our small groups provide a safe place for students to ask questions, build lasting friendships, and apply God's Word to their lives. Wrestling with Salvation
In our recent podcast discussion, Blake and I tackled some of the more profound questions about salvation that were submitted during our Ask Anything Sunday. We explored the nature of God's grace, the meaning of election, and what it truly means to have saving faith. These aren't just theological concepts to debate—they're foundational truths that shape how we understand our relationship with God and our calling as His people. Just as Blake once pulled his nephew from the bottom of a pool, God has rescued us from certain spiritual death through no merit of our own. This truth reminds us that salvation is entirely God's gracious work, and that reality should fill us with both humility and joy. Key takeaways from this episode: Salvation is a gift, not a reward. Whether someone follows Jesus for decades or turns to Him in their final breath, salvation is received the same way—through God's grace alone. Like the thief on the cross, we can do nothing to earn it. The real miracle isn't that only certain sinners are allowed into heaven; it's that any sinners are allowed in at all. Being "elect" means both rescued and commissioned. God's choosing of us isn't just about being saved from something—it's about being called to something. We are elected not only for salvation but for a vocation: to be witnesses to Jesus, to proclaim His excellencies, and to be a light to the world around us. Saving faith produces fruit. True faith involves knowledge of who Jesus is, assent that His way is the only way, and trust that places our full weight on Him. This faith naturally produces the fruit of the Spirit—including joy, peace, and love—as we abide in Christ and allow Him to work through us. I encourage you to reflect on these truths this week. Are there areas where you've been trying to earn God's favor rather than resting in His grace? How are you living out your calling as one of God's elect people? What fruit is evident in your life as you abide in Christ? If you have questions or want to explore these topics further, please don't hesitate to reach out. Pray for her husband to get the job God would have for him to provide for their needs. Clark Family: The Clark’s son Josh had an accident and suffered broken sinuses and a small brain bleed.
