Pastor Blake Williams | Daniel 3:1-30

What do you do when faithfulness to God puts you at odds with the world around you?

In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego face an impossible choice: bow before the king's golden image or be thrown into a blazing furnace. Their courage reminds us that true faith isn't measured by whether God rescues us from every trial, but by our willingness to trust Him no matter the outcome. And in one of the most powerful moments in Scripture, God reveals that He doesn't simply deliver His people from the fire—He joins them in it.

This message explores how believers can stand firm in a culture of compromise, endure suffering with confidence, and live with the hope that God is always present, even in life's fiercest flames.

The Vision for Our Team Heritage Worship & Creative teams consist of worship leaders, musicians, production & technical assistants, camera & livestream operators, photographers, filmmakers, and artists. The vision and culture for the Heritage Worship & Creative teams is a vibrant, passionate, Spirit-led community of worshippers who use their gifts and skillsets to serve God and serve others within the church. We’ll pursue this through a myriad of creative and technical expressions, but the goal will always be constant and consistent: to lift high the name of Jesus Christ through what we create together. We long to be all about Jesus, all about people, and we value a heart of service, unity, and leadership amongst our teams and community. That is the culture we desire to build as we serve the Lord together. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” — Colossians 3:16 What’s Coming Up: Team Night! We value time together, sharing what the Lord is doing in our lives personally, praying and worshipping together, and honestly just having fun 🤓. That’s why we love incorporating Team Nights into the culture of our ministry. Team Nights are a relaxed, fun, focused time to hang together and be equipped by one another. There are three gatherings currently scheduled for the next year so mark your calendars! Thursday, November 5 Thursday, January 21 2027 Thursday, April 8 2027 Do You Want to Serve on The Team? We’d love to invite you to join the Worship or Creative Team here if you are feeling led to do so! We’re always looking for people with coachable hearts who desire to serve others and our church well. Right now, we are in need of those who wish to help with running our Sunday livestream and cameras, worship visuals (lyrics, videos, notes, etc), musicians for Sunday morning worship and Youth on Sunday PM’s, videographers, and photographers. (Don’t worry––for any of the technical roles we can help train you to get you up to speed!) Pastor Blake challenges us to be ready when the world rebels against God, faithful when it opposes His people, and firmly grounded when it rejects His truth. This Week's Message "Heaven Rules" Jason Fischer | Daniel 4:1-37 Through Nebuchadnezzar’s testimony we are faced with the reality that God rules on earth just as he does in heaven. This conflicts with our own pride so it is important for us to understand how pride shows up in our own lives in order to submit to God’s sovereign and gracious rule. Here's what our community is lifting up this week: Cancer Diagnosis: Daniel Lichtenberger’s sister-in-law was recently diagnosed with breast cancer which will require surgical intervention. Please pray for healing, finances, minimal growth/impact of the cancer, and comfort through this difficult season. Pray for her husband to get the job God would have for him to provide for their needs. Clark Family: The Clark’s son Josh had an accident and suffered broken sinuses and a small brain bleed. He went through surgery ok but pray for quick healing and no complications to arise and the presence of the Lord to be with the family as they recover. Submit your own prayer request here.
